AdvisorRank.ai (“AdvisorRank,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides search and AI search optimization services for financial advisors. AdvisorRank is a marketing service, not an investment adviser or broker-dealer.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through AdvisorRank.ai, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Website scans

When you run a free scan, we collect the website address you enter. Our scanner then visits a small number of publicly available pages on that website (such as the homepage, about, team, services, and contact pages) and its robots.txt file. We store the address, the results of each website signal we review, the pages inspected, and the date of the scan.

The scanner reads only public pages. It does not log in, submit forms, or access anything that requires a password.

Full report requests

When you request your full report, we collect:

• Your name
• Your work email address
• The scan your request relates to
• Your optional permission to receive occasional marketing emails

Technical and campaign information

• The date and time of your scan or request
• The page you came from and campaign details in the link you used, such as UTM parameters
• Browser and device information (user agent)
• A one-way hash of your IP address, used for rate limiting, spam prevention, and security
• The version of the consent statement shown when you submitted the form

We do not use the hashed IP information to identify you personally.

2. How We Use Information

• Run your scan and show you the results
• Provide your results and full report, and follow up about them by email
• Send occasional marketing emails, only if you checked the optional box
• Respond to questions and requests
• Improve our scanner and services
• Prevent abuse, spam, and unauthorized activity
• Keep records of consent and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

3. Email

When you request your full report, we may email you about your results. If you check the optional marketing box, we may send occasional insights about search and AI visibility for advisors. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.

4. How We Share Information

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate AdvisorRank, such as website hosting, database storage, customer relationship management (CRM), scheduling, email delivery, and security providers. They may use it only to perform services for us.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, protect the rights and safety of AdvisorRank or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Data Retention

We keep scan results and findings requests for as long as reasonably needed to provide our services and follow up, and delete or anonymize inactive records no later than 24 months after your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is required by law. You may ask us to delete your information sooner.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted access to stored records, and a password-protected administrative export. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Analytics

The website does not currently use advertising cookies. It may record basic, non-identifying events (such as when a scan starts) for measurement. If we add third-party analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information, or to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email info@advisorrank.ai. We may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

9. Children’s Privacy

AdvisorRank is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The current version will be posted here with its effective date.
